Ammonia and nitrite are naturally occurring but extremely toxic compounds which in high enough quantities can be fatal to any living being inside your aquarium. They are produced by fish urine, uneaten fish food, dead and decaying plants and insects. The nitrifying bacteria within API’s Quick Start efficiently and effectively get rid of this ammonia and nitrite build up, leaving behind an aquarium that breathes life and serenity. 

Essential for use with new fish, in a new aquarium and when changing the pond water.

Use the Dosing Cap provided with the bottle for accurate measurements.

Directions: Add 10ml to treat 10 U.S. gallons of water. Double this dosage for saltwater aquariums.
