Hill's™ Prescription Diet™ c/d™ Multicare Cat with Salmon is a complete dietetic pet food for the reduction of struvite stone recurrence (cause of feline lower urinary tract disease, FLUTD) in adult cats. This dietetic pet food has urine acidifying properties and contains a moderate level of magnesium.
Ingredients:
Meat and animal derivatives, cereals, fish and fish derivatives, vegetable protein extracts, various sugars, minerals, eggs and egg derivatives, oils and fats, derivatives of vegetable origin. Chicken, pork, salmon (4%), maize starch, pea protein, wheat flour, various sugars, minerals, dried whole egg, cellulose, sunflower oil, dried pork protein, fish oil, vitamins, taurine, trace elements and beta-carotene. Coloured with natual caramel.
Composition:
Protein 8.4%, Fat content 4.0%, Crude fibre 0.22%, Crude ash 1.2%, Moisture 80.0%, Calcium 0.15%, Phosphorus 0.13%, Sodium 0.07%, Potassium 0.14%, Magnesium 0.01%, Chlorides 0.15%, Sulphur 0.19%; per kg, Vitamin E 120mg, Beta-carotene 0.24mg.
Nutritional advice:
E671 (Vitamin D3) 176IU, E1 (Iron) 33.0mg, E2 (Iodine) 0.6mg, E4 (Copper) 7.0mg, E5 (Manganese) 3.1mg, E6 (Zinc) 34.9mg, coloured with natural caramel.

Make the change. Its worth it.
Its great for our fat cat , shes spoilt above all things and this is the best food , she loves it now after we weaned her off the others (maybe junk food ), and she is loosing weight . No more kidney stones for her now from feeding her this Prescription Diet food ..So much better for her.

Pouches are a poor choice
While I love the idea of new food options for my cat, I do not love the new packaging. Messier afair to get the contents out and the impact on the environment is increased as the materials are non-recyclable due to the plastic and foil mix. Will not purchase again, unless packaged in a can.
