Hill's™ Prescription Diet™ i/d™ Cat with Chicken is a complete dietetic pet food for the reduction of acute intestinal absorptive disorders and for compensation for maldigestion and exocrine pancreatic insufficiency in cats. This dietetic pet food has an increased level of electrolytes, highly digestible ingredients and a low level of fat.
Ingredients:
Meat and animal derivatives, cereals, derivatives of vegetable origin, fish and fish derivatives, eggs and egg derivatives, various sugars, vegetable protein extracts, oils and fats, minerals, yeasts. Chicken (25%), pork, maize starch, salmon, tapioca starch, dried egg, various sugars, wheat flour, pea protein, cellulose, sunflower oil, minerals, dried pork protein, yeasts, vitamins, trace elements, taurine and beta carotene. Coloured with natural caramel.

My cat loves this
My cat has feline renal disease (stage 2) and she tended to get constipated, which is one of the effects. My vet and I discussed putting her on a diet combined renal prescription diet and i/d and it has worked so well for her. She has put on weight, eats well and does regular poo since being on the new diet. Sometimes My Pet Warehouse is out of stock, likely because Hills is on back order. We try to order regularly.

Excellent food!
My 5 yo long-haired cat had been quite constipated and struggling to throw up hairballs. As she was on premium Ziwipeak & Black Hawk all her life, I didn’t think to change her food until a visit from the vet. She suggested this and Digestive care (all wet foods), and my kitty has been super healthy ever since!!

My cat has to be on the Digestive Care and he has not enjoyed the tins so much. When this food came out, he squealed with delight, he was so excited to eat it.

Sunflower oil and wheat are highly inflammatory
I do not think sunflower oil and wheat should be included in any cat’s diet let alone a cat with digestive issues. These substances are known to be highly inflammatory
