This canned Gastrointestinal Health dog food is designed to offer digestive health support to dogs that need it. Food allergies or a lack of digestive enzymes can be the culprit for gastrointestinal upset. Proper digestion is important for your dog's body because otherwise they cannot repair tissue or get energy from their food.
This low fat solution to the famous I/D dry formula is ideal for dogs who need a salt reduced option with low fat.
The veterinarians and nutritionists at Hill's have developed this food specifically to care for gastrointestinal health. The key benefits of feeding this wet food are as follows:
- The protein and fat is highly digestible allowing your dog to obtain the nutrients and repair damaged tissue in the body.
- A mix of fibre sources helps to keep the digestive system healthy.
- An ideal balance of important nutrients replenish the body.
- To promote a healthy immune system there are added antioxidants.
You may have had a recommendation from your vet to feed this specific prescription diet to your dog and of course you agreed. After all, you only want the best for your pooch. A few months of purchasing this food go by and you realise that it's costing a lot more than you thought it would.
Also available in a 12 pack.

DIGESTIVE CARE I/D LOW FAT.
Started off as a replacement for lean ground beef I gave as an appetizer for my sometimes-fussy 8 year old Boxer. I was concerned there would be a transitional period. There was not. He loved this stuff right off the bat and I am happy to give it to him as a healthy alternative to the ground beef. He looks forward to this as his appetizer and will often pass on the kibble until later.
