The kidney work to remove waste substances from the blood and they also maintain the correct balance between fluid and minerals. This is why they are important for your cat's overall well-being.
Pets that have suffered kidney damage are often in pain. The condition is often irreversible. This wet food has been designed to give your cat the following benefits:

Good Kidney Care Wet Food
Unlike other kidney diet foods our fusspot actually eats this one. He had no problem transitioning over to it and it seems to have done him good so far. He was on C/D Multicare stress which is very similar.

A PICKY SENIOR CITIZEN
My 18 1/2 ginger tom MrC has had to change his diet after an infection and ealy renal problems , he is very old, and this is the food he flavours, now hes feeling better he is slapping his plate at 0700 and looking for breakfast.Im so relieved as he only nibbled the other KDs and lost weight, he loves this.

Finicky Cat LOVES This!
My 17 year old little girl has stage 2 kidney disease. :( Our vet put her on this RX food. I was nervous because she doesn't like anything that isn't her "normal" food. To my surprise, she loves it! We go back in a few weeks to have her levels checked again & I am hoping this helps bring her kidney levels down some. The only problem she has with this, & it's not a problem with the food, is that since she's elderly, she has trouble picking up wet food so she does better with puréed food. I've been blending this in a mini blender into a purée so she can just lick it up. Works great. I'd love to see this food in the same flavor, also available as a purée.

Finally a KD food my cat loves
My cat had an acute renal episode recently and has been placed on a prescription diet. We have struggled to find food he enjoys. The minute we opened the can of Chicken Stew, Theodore was excited. He enjoyed the texture of this food over the Pate food.

Amazed at how effective it is
Absolutely impressed with this product. We went from thinking we were reaching the end of our time with our 16 year old cat to having her back to her old self within days of starting the k/d diet. We received a few samples from our vet and once we determined her preference, chicken and veggie stew, ordered our first two cases. It's been 9 days and our cat is back to her happy self and we couldn't be more impressed with the transformation.

Night and day!
My 15 year old girl was spending what seemed like all day at the water bowl, and we started this food and almost immediately, her water intake and urine output is back to normal! We once ran out and had to feed her the regular cat food that our others get, and she was immediately back to the water bowl. Got more food, she backed off the water. Amazing how effective it is!!

K/D means happy cats
My cats are both on K/D canned and dry and love it, except the vegetables. Like kids, they leave them on the dish :-)
