HILLS PRESCRIPTION DIET CANINE C/D VEG & CHICKEN STEW 156GX24

Hill's Prescription Diet C/D is a urinary tract health dog food. This means it offers dietary support for dogs with/or at risk of bladder stones. This issue is caused by a collection of minerals that build up and combine together in the urinary tract.

These mineral deposits are uncomfortable for your dog and can cause complications that may require the help of a vet. Food plays an important role in the development of bladder stones. This is why a urinary health dog food, like this one, with the ideal ratios of minerals can help. It offers the following benefits:
  • Lower levels of protein, magnesium and phosphorous to prevent the formation of crystals.
  • Low sodium levels to avoid high blood pressure.
  • To control cell oxidisation and promote a health immune system there are added antioxidants

HILLS PRESCRIPTION DIET CANINE C/D VEG & CHICKEN STEW 156GX24 is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fussy eater, no problems I have only just started to transition my very fussy Shi Tzu on to this diet recommended by her vet after having surgery to remove bladder stones. In the past I tried all major premium food brands with her and she wouldn’t have them. I was worried she wouldn’t eat the C/D prescription food but so far she is finishing all of her food. As for the prevention of future bladder stones, it is too early to tell.
