Rated 3 out of 5 by from A weird one for us... We purchased this toy prior to picking up our 9week old Chihuahua puppy. Fortunately this toy is tiny, and I do mean TINY, so it fit her size perfectly. We removed the rope from the bone in order to use them as two separate toys, and while the long rope was a huge hit for playing tug-o-war (especially when we want to avoid any mishaps with her razor sharp puppy teeth), the goodie bone smelt strongly of rubber. Even after washing it many times, sticking it in the freezer to entice her with cold on her gums, and sticking treats in the sides, she just wasn't interested and immediately was a master at popping any treats out and ignoring the actual bone. I don't see this as a total loss as she does enjoy the rope, and I will continue to look for ways to interest her with the bone, but I do think there are better options out there.
