This Royal Canin dental cat food is designed for adult cats 1-7 years old prone to tartar and plaque. Oral and dental sensitivities include bad breath, tooth decay and plaque & tartar build-up.
With a dual action effect it can result in a 59% reduction in tartar formation after 28 days of exclusive use. It does this in two ways:
- Contains active anti-tartar agent (sodium polyphosphates) that traps calcium in saliva and prevents it from being deposited on the teeth as tartar.
- The shape, size and texture of kibble works like a toothbrush to gently scrape away plaque.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Pip79 from If she could eat one thing for the rest of her life... Our 15 year old fusspot rescue cat LOVES this kibble. She will meow the house down until she gets some! She has to be on a renal diet usually but we added this in to help keep her teeth clean. Now its all she wants! Great value, excellent quality as you would expect from Royal Canin and old grumpy kitteh approved.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Anne1 from Does its job but awful food That's it in a nutshell. I run a small cat rescue & I have 4 cats of my own. I can't or won't clean all their teeth with a brush so I needed something! Years ago I started trying this and it really works well on their teeth - this was according to their dental checkups. It's a good texture so their teeth slide down through the biscuit without it crumbling like the small ones do. But as a food this is really awful. After the first decent animal protein the list of ingredients is just grain after grain with some double grains thrown in too (eg maize & maize flour) then way down the list are a couple more decent things. I just couldn't feed that to my cats after I'd researched cat kibble on opening my Rescue and realised what goes into some brands. So what I do is feed a very high quality kibble & add these biscuits as a supplement - about 10-15% of the whole. Another good thing is that even tho the biscuits are huge & I thought nobody would eat it, all the cats like them. So I recommend as a dental aid, but not as a food.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Goldenpaws from Royal Canin Oral Care used as a training treat. I only use this product as a training treat for my cats to train them to run to one specific room for evacuation purposes in case of bushfire. I would never use this as a food item as it is highly processed and full of carbohydrates which are contraindicated for cats. But whatever they use as a flavouring in this product is highly addictive and therefore makes it an ideal training treat for cats
